LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is known by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the best basketball players ever. James has won four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, as well as 2 Olympic medals. James has the world record of the highest number of points scored in the post-season. He is second in overall career score and 7th most career assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. He was the 3rd player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from 2011 through 2018. James was chosen to join the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player in history to earn at least 10,000 points in a career. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School close to his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped up by the media. As a prep to pro, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick in the NBA draft of 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He soon established himself as one of the top league players, and won the NBA MVP title in both 2009 and the year 2010. James, who did not take home the title in Cleveland in 2010, left as a free agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was made clear as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a player who was a free agent time.
