Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely well-known American singer and actor. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is of Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen's talent for entertainment was recognized at an early age. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent when she was only thirteen years old. Then, she was selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials on TV. Bell also began taking private acting classes at the age of 13. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music as well as drama. Bell was chosen to play the lead role of Dorothy in the school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre in New York City. Bell dropped out of studying in the year 2001 and began playing Becky who is a character from Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit with Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however cut, and her only appearance is in the final credits. Bell appeared part of the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
