Garena's Garena Premier League (GPL) was launched in the month of May. It is a professional online gaming tournament that runs for over six months, and comprises more than 100 games. The league is the world's premier LoL Taiwanese as well as Hong Kongese and Macau LoL League, which is a spin-off of the GPL. Garena launched the Iron Solari League in January 2015. It is an League of Legends women's tournament which is played on the Philippines. The event is held in the second month of every month. It is designed to boost participation among the underrepresented groups, and it's available to everyone who defines themselves as a woman.
